On Small Business Saturday, the West End Merchants Coalition sponsored a FREE fun, interactive way for visitors to explore our “Heritage Hub” businesses along

the West End business corridor.

The businesses selected as Heritage Hub stops each have products or services that reflect the unique cultural Afrocentric flavor of the West End.  Since our business membership includes non-profit as well as for profit locations we also featured our community’s famous museums, Hammonds House Museum and the Wren’s Nest. Participants started out at the Shrine of the Black Madonna Book Store where visitors received free parking, hot cider, a glance around, and an interactive “where It’s Happening” map to guide them to the participating locations and shop other locations along the route.
